$begingroup$ @OrangeDog I'd say no. My place all alongside has become that a hash purpose will have to map to a fixed-measurement output, although the input size is irrelevant. We have gotten quite much off-topic. Your remedy has good stuff in it, just be cautious with your formal definition ;-)
